Superfuse
~ the obit ~
Superfuse reached Steam early access on 31 January 2023 as a hack and slash set in a comic-book universe, where you played an Enforcer built by the gods to go and clean up a corporate-feudal future on their behalf. The hook was in the skill system. Instead of picking abilities off a tree, you fused augments into the abilities themselves, so one attack could be rebuilt into something the designers had not drawn a specific plan for.
It reviewed as promising and unfinished, which is the contract early access offers. Then the updates stopped. By March 2025 the game had gone more than two years without a patch, and nothing had been announced in that window to explain it.
Raw Fury, the publisher, finally gave the reason on 24 September 2025. Stitch Heads Entertainment had ceased operations, so there was nobody left to keep the servers upright or to ship a fix. The game was removed from sale on 10 October 2025.

~ the bankruptcy first ~
The death that matters happened eleven months before the delisting. Stitch Heads, a Breda studio also registered as NederBrew B.V., entered bankruptcy proceedings on 5 November 2024. Eighteen people were on the books. All eighteen were dismissed on 6 November, the day after the filing.
The board's account of the cause is the ordinary one for a mid-sized studio living on contract work: large projects booked for 2024 either collapsed or slid into 2025, and a company coming off a strong 2023 could not bridge the distance between those two facts. Superfuse was not what killed the studio. The studio was what killed Superfuse.
~ the trustee's valuation ~
The receivership produced one detail worth keeping. In the court-appointed trustee's reports on the estate, the Superfuse intellectual property is recorded as having no value, which also explains why no rescue was arranged for it. A game that eighteen people shipped and a publisher marketed came out the other side of the process worth nothing to the creditors. Anybody who bought it can still launch it offline in single-player, unsupported and permanently at version 0-point-something, and out of this whole ending that is the piece that went well.
